The Opportunity

If you have a passion for design, we have an exciting new opportunity to join our International Retail Design & VM team for Carolina Herrera Beauty based in Barcelona. In this creative and challenging role, your mission will be to design and implement high quality in-store assets and to achieve excellence at the point of sale. This will be working primarily on temporary assets that are related to new launches or animations. The role focuses on the creative development process, creating the guidelines for the markets and helping to work on their implementation.

What you'll get to do

Development area

  • Develop eye-catching and functional animation spaces to promote our launches and limited editions in our point of sales, based on a briefing given by the marketing team.
  • Aesthetic vision and great attention to small details.
  • Space capacity to design small elements (POSM) and large spaces (outpost animations)
  • Creative minds to propose new concepts for our launches and animations to complement the initial briefings given by the marketing teams.
  • Being capable to create alive spaces, creating functional traffic flows and appealing costumer journeys.
  • Knowledge of materials - be capable to develop elements and propose the ideal materials to build it.
  • Develop POSM elements considering a target cost, feasibility of production and sustainability (balance between cost and esthetic)

Operational area

  • Follow up of the retroplannig production of the POSM, working together with the different departments involved.
  • Work together with the operational marketing team having an overview of the market needs, designing spaces according to each regions / market.
  • Basic logistic knowledges in terms of production processes will be very well valuated.

Go to market area

  • Follow up with assigned markets for each launch/animation requests received.
  • Work very close with our key markets and design adapted spaces according to their needs.
  • Make regularly store checks in our main doors, propose improvements in terms of visibility and being aware of the limitations and restrictions.

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • 1-2 years of experience working in retail design or visual merchandising ideally in a related sector focusing on temporary assets.
  • A high level of creativity and strong aesthetic taste with strong out of the box vision
  • Capacity of identify the main objectives on a project and propose solutions accordingly
  • Experience in managing projects that involve creative development process, production process and communication with different departments
  • Understanding of beauty and luxury fashion.
