Leadership & Dental Innovation Pipeline
Lead the NPI Engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Drive the long-term product innovation roadmap for dental implants, prosthetic portfolios, and digital ecosystem solutions (e.g., guided surgery, CAD/CAM workflows, software integration).
Lead the evaluation, benchmarking, and clinical testing of competitor dental systems to identify market gaps and technological opportunities.
Oversee the successful design transfer of complex implantology and digital development projects from initial concept to commercial production.
Establish, maintain, and enhance NPI KPIs such as robustness, manufacturability, maintainability, cost efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.
Communicate technical and strategic priorities to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Project & Process Management
Direct and manage product development, ensuring mechanical integrity, biological compatibility, and milestone achievements.
Approve and finalize critical development documentation, establishing robust Design History Files (DHF) that comply with global medical device standards.
Supervise the creation and optimization of manufacturing drawings, device descriptions, packaging specifications, and precision assembly tolerance structures.
Support audits, technical reviews, and risk assessments related to product changes and updates.
Ensure all NPI engineering activities comply with internal standards, industry regulations, and documentation requirements.
Cross-Functional & Clinical Collaboration
Act as the primary technical partner for Brand Management, International Sales, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and clinicians to transform clinical needs into high-performance product designs.
Guide production and testing teams during the implementation phase, ensuring component test layouts and 3D visualization materials meet commercial standards
Partner with Life Cycle Engineering, Operations, and Markets to ensure seamless transitions between product development stages.
Serve as the technical escalation point for product performance issues, field feedback, and customer complaints.
The tasks are to be performed in compliance with the company principles, the company objectives and the defined QM system. Representation in the event of absence is determined on a department-specific and individual basis.
