As CFO at SAVR, you’ll take overall responsibility for our finance function and play a key role in building the structure, clarity, and financial control we need as we continue to grow.
This is a broad, hands-on CFO role in a fast-moving fintech environment - which means you’ll move between strategic discussions, detailed financial modelling, regulatory reporting, cash flow planning, accounting quality, risk management, board materials, and team leadership. You’ll work closely with our two founders (and report to CEO), management team, board, banks, custodians, and outsourcing partners to make sure our financial operations are sharp, reliable, and ready for significant upscaling.
The role includes personnel responsibility for a finance team of three and is based at SAVR’s HQ in central Stockholm.
Own and drive SAVR’s budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, financial modelling, and annual reporting processes
Ensure high quality in financial statements, year-end reports, audits, liquidity planning, and cash management
Manage regulatory reporting routines toward the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority
Prepare quarterly and annual reports, board materials, and financial insights that support strong decision-making
Ensure an up to standard risk management
Take an active role in the management team, bringing financial expertise and business understanding to company strategy and operations
Lead, coach, and develop your team members with a supportive, hands-on leadership style
Manage relationships with banks, custodians, outsourcing partners, and other key external stakeholders
Help bring structure, accuracy, and calm problem-solving to a finance setup with plenty of moving parts, including group structure, account flows, currency exchange, partner integrations, banking models, account structures, and partner-based financial operations
Have 5–10 years of relevant finance experience, ideally from fintech, management consulting, a scaleup, or another high-paced environment
Are a finance generalist who enjoys both the big picture and the details - from board reporting to Excel modelling, and everything in between
Have strong analytical skills, excellent Excel capabilities, and a confident hands-on approach to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Proven experience with project management and stakeholder management in a financial regulatory context
Understand accounting principles, reporting requirements, audits, and financial control
Have experience with, or strong curiosity for, investment products, fund services
Are structured, solution-oriented, reliable, and precise - especially when things are changing fast
Lead by example and enjoy coaching, motivating, and developing a small team
Are entrepreneurial without needing chaos to be the personality trait of the day
Communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written
Are located in Sweden and eligible to work here
