Job Description

Okoora is a high-velocity fintech company building the global infrastructure layer for FX risk management, cross-border payments, and financial automation. Our flagship product, FX360, enables businesses and financial platforms to manage currency exposure and international flows seamlessly.

Okoora is now entering a critical growth phase- post-product, post-revenue, and preparing for a significant equity round and IPO readiness within two years. The company operates with entities in Switzerland, Israel, and Cyprus.

The CFO will serve as a strategic and operational leader responsible for building Okoora’s financial infrastructure from the ground up. This role requires a hands-on, intelligent, and execution-driven professional who can transform a fragmented financial operation into a world-class finance organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a high-performing finance department covering accounting, FP&A, treasury, payments, and control.
  • Lead the migration from Hashavshevet to NetSuite, including process automation and system integration.
  • Establish complete financial visibility: monthly closing within +5 days, audited financials, real-time dashboards.
  • Design and enforce IFRS 15/9-compliant revenue recognition and cost models.
  • Manage multi-entity and multi-currency reporting across Switzerland, Israel, and Cyprus.
  • Oversee banking relationships, credit facilities, loans, and investor reporting.
  • Partner with the CEO on fundraising, board communication, and investor due diligence.
  • Implement strong controls: segregation of duties (SoD), payment governance, and audit readiness.
  • Build and mentor a small, agile team: controller, accountants, and FP&A analyst.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, with proven success in building finance functions from scratch in fast-scaling tech or fintech environments.
  • Solid background in IFRS reporting, financial consolidation, and internal controls.
  • Experience preparing companies for fundraising and/or IPO readiness.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP implementation (preferably NetSuite).
  • Strong command of FP&A, revenue modeling, and financial planning for SaaS or infrastructure-based business models.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew.
