Woodmoor Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate, skilled, and dependable Veterinary Technician to join our team in Monument, Colorado.

What You’ll Do

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an essential role in providing excellent medical care to our patients. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures

  • Obtaining patient histories and monitoring vital signs

  • Collecting and processing laboratory samples

  • Administering medications and vaccines as directed

  • Preparing patients for surgery and assisting with anesthesia monitoring

  • Performing venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, and other technical procedures

  • Maintaining accurate medical records

  • Educating and communicating with clients about patient care

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment

  • Supporting the veterinary team wherever needed

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Compassionate and genuinely committed to animal welfare

  • Experienced as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant with strong technical skills

  • Comfortable handling dogs and cats in a clinical environment

  • Detail-oriented and able to stay organized in a busy hospital

  • A strong communicator with excellent client-service skills

  • Dependable, professional, and a positive team player

  • Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with veterinarians and fellow team members

CVT/LVT credentials are a plus, but we’re also interested in experienced veterinary assistants who are motivated to grow their technical skills and career.

Position Details

Position: Veterinary Technician

Employment: Full-time or part-time opportunities available

Compensation and benefits will be based on experience, credentials, and position status.

    • Base hourly rate of $21.00 - $23.00 DOE
    • This position is also eligible for a periodic bonus
