We care for dogs, cats, birds, exotics, and pocket pets — basically, if it fits through the front door (and sometimes even if it doesn’t), we’ll do our best to help it. We take our medicine seriously… but ourselves? Not so much.
What you’ll do:
You’ll be an essential part of our medical dream team — collaborating with doctors, comforting clients, and using all your technical skills (plus your sense of humor). You’ll handle things like:
Diagnostic sample collection
IV catheter placement (bonus points if you can do it while calming a nervous ferret)
Venipuncture
Radiology (including the flighty, slithery, and occasionally dramatic)
Anesthesia and pain management
Dental radiographs and cleanings
General wizardry with exotic species
Who you are:
A Certified Veterinary Technician (or have equivalent experience and some serious skills)
Experienced (2+ years preferred) and always up for learning new tricks
Unflappable — even when the iguana decides to scale the microscope
Compassionate, communicative, and the kind of teammate who brings calm to chaos
Able to laugh off the occasional “poop in pocket” surprise
Emotionally ready to fall in love with a rabbit named Biscuit
