Certified Teacher – Adolescent Outpatient Treatment Program

Location: Paoli, PA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Salary: Up to $60,000 per year, based on experience and certifications

Start Date: Hiring Immediately

At High Focus Centers, we provide evidence-based treatment for adolescents experiencing mental health, substance use, eating disorder, and co-occurring challenges.

We are looking for a Certified Teacher to join our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Paoli, PA. This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for education with meaningful work in a supportive treatment environment.

As a Program Teacher, you will help students stay on track academically while they focus on their mental health and recovery. You’ll work alongside clinical and educational professionals to create a structured, encouraging environment where students can continue learning and build confidence during a challenging time.

What You’ll Do

• Provide academic instruction aligned with each student’s home school curriculum
• Adapt lessons and implement IEP/504 accommodations based on individual learning needs
• Communicate with school liaisons, parents, and members of the treatment team
• Support student engagement, confidence, and academic progress
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to individualized care planning
• Prepare progress updates and transition reports as students complete the program
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and FERPA requirements

What You Bring

• Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification required
• Special Education Certification strongly preferred
• Experience working with adolescents preferred
• Experience in behavioral health, therapeutic, or alternative education settings is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a therapeutic environment
