As a Surgical Technician, you will provide quality individualized patient care in the perioperative, intraoperative and post-operative phases of the patients' experience. You will provide peer education, maintenance of the sterile field, advocacy, efficient provision of resources, maintenance of supply inventory, enforcement of standards and integration and coordination of care across the surgical setting. You will also follow guidelines for perioperative practices as established by AORN. Surgery would not be possible if it were not for Surgical Technicians.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who would like to grow their experience in the OR. This role can lead you down the path to other roles within the OR as well as becoming a lead tech, sterile processing technician or start your career in nursing.
A caregiver in this position works days from 6:00AM – 6:30PM, with on-call requirements.
