Key Responsibilities:

Experience and Education Qualifications:

  • Hold the credentials of a Qualified Addiction Professional as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board, Inc. (MCB)

  • Certification as a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC), Certified Reciprocal Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRADC), Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRAADC), or Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor (RADC), or Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP)

  • Co-Occurring credential preferred

Additional Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods related to mental health and substance use disorder treatment

  • Familiarity with the problems encountered by individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders

  • Ability to establish rapport with client populations and employ effective counseling techniques

  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of program policies, procedures, and regulations
