REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Required:

    • Neonatal

    • Trauma

    • Spinal Anesthesia

    • Epidural Anesthesia

    • Regional Anesthesia Surgery

    • Obstetrical Cases

    • Neurosurgical cases (Head, Spine)

    • Open Heart Anesthesia

    • Thoracic cases (except open heart)

    • Complex vascular cases (except open heart)

    • Complex orthopedic cases

    • Pain management techniques (Post-op epidural, Post-op extremity blocks, Epidural steroid for Lumbar, Epidural steroid for Cervical, Transforaminal, Lumbar, Cervical, Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks)

    • Ventilation management

    • Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues

    • Central Line placement

    • Arterial Line placement

    • PA Catheter placement

    • CRNA supervision

  • Preferred:

    • General Anesthesia

    • Adult

    • Pediatric

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Board: BC/BE

  • Licenses: Active MO or willing to obtain

  • Certification: BLS

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administer general anesthesia for scheduled surgeries and procedures at Lebanon and Rolla locations.

  • Provide anesthesia coverage for on-call shifts including weeknights and weekends at Lebanon Hospital.

  • Perform regional anesthesia techniques including epidurals and nerve blocks as needed.

  • Manage anesthesia for OB, general surgery, ENT, podiatry, and ophthalmology cases.

  • Collaborate with surgical team and ensure patient safety during perioperative period.
