Short Description

CRNA JOB DESCRIPTION - Camden, CDHI, VSC, MSC, BMA, CAPE (all locations)

Team of 85+ Full Time CRNA’s work in Physician-Led Collaborative Practice:

• Develop & implement patient specific anesthetic plan.• Selecting & initiating planned anesthetic technique (general, regional, local anesthesia & intravenous sedation).• Selecting, obtaining, or administering anesthetics, accessory drugs, & fluids necessary to manage & maintain physiologic homeostasis, & to correct abnormal responses to the anesthesia/surgery.• Selecting, applying, or inserting appropriate noninvasive & invasive monitoring modalities for collecting & interpreting patient physiological data.• Managing patient's airway & pulmonary status (endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, pharmacological support, respiratory therapy & extubation).• Managing emergence & recovery from anesthesia.• Provide relief from pain & anesthesia side effects, or to prevent or manage complications.• Ordering, initiating or modifying pain relief therapy, through the utilization of drugs, regional anesthetic techniques, or other accepted pain relief modalities.• Responding to emergency situations (codes/trauma alerts/airway emergencies) by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques.

Anesthetic Locations: Camden:• Main Hospital Operating Room (30-bed) • Multiple outside of OR sites (OB, GI, EP Lab, TEE, Neuro IR, MRI, IR, Bronch, Pain, Trauma/Emergency Alert responses) Mt. Laurel:• Cooper Digestive Health Center (5-bed) Voorhees:• Voorhees Surgery Center (5-bed) Moorestown:• Moorestown Surgery Center (9-bed) Willingboro:• BMA Cooper Specialty Care GI (1-bed) Cape Regional:• Main Hospital Operating Room (2-bed)• Surgery Center (4-bed)

Education Requirements

MSN or DNP in Nurse Anesthesia is required.

License/Certification Requirements

Board Certified as a Certified Registered Nurse AnesthetistCurrent, valid State of New Jersey RN Current, valid State of New Jersey APN licenseCurrent, valid certification from National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) Current, valid DEA license Current BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications
