The Certified Personal Trainer serves as a trusted fitness professional, helping members achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized exercise programming, movement assessments, motivation, and education. Working within one of the largest fitness centers on the Peninsula, this role partners with members to create safe, effective, and engaging fitness experiences while fostering a welcoming and supportive community.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and small group personal training sessions that support members' fitness goals.
- Assess members' movement patterns, posture, fitness level, and physical needs to develop individualized exercise programs.
- Educate members on proper exercise techniques and the safe use of fitness equipment.
- Provide guidance, motivation, and accountability to help members achieve measurable health and wellness outcomes.
- Recommend additional fitness programs, services, or resources that support members' overall well-being.
- Foster positive relationships with members while delivering exceptional customer service and creating an inclusive fitness environment.
- Maintain accurate client records and stay current on industry best practices and certifications.
- Support overall Fitness Center operations and assist with additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Key Skills
- Nationally accredited Personal Training certification required.
- Current CPR/AED certification required.
- Personal training experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and educate members.
- Professional, dependable, and punctual.
