In this position, you will engage with clients through both face-to-face and telephone interactions, conductingassessmentsand providing essential support. Your ability to build trusting relationships will be key in promoting recovery and enhancing community living for those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage clients in collaborative and caring relationships,utilizinginterpersonal skills and knowledge about recovery.
• Provide support through validation of experiences and feelings, exploring community roles, and celebrating client accomplishments.
• Promote coping skills for managing addictions and mental health symptoms while encouraging the use of naturalsupports
• Deliver a person-centered treatment approach, personalizing recovery goals to align with clients' hopes and preferences.
• Create a trauma-informed environment that emphasizes safety and empowers clients.
• Conduct face-to-face and telephone contacts with consumers from various crisis programs,establishingeffective relationships.
• Attend scheduled meetings,trainings, and supervision sessions.
• Complete all documentation requirements bystateddeadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Crisis Services ordesignee
• Review and follow the ACI Four Core Competencies.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Must be a Certified Missouri Peer Specialist
• High School Diploma/GED
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a favorable recent driving record.
