Your Role as a PRN COTA

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will help residents improve independence, safety, confidence, and participation in meaningful daily activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Delivering skilled interventions focused on ADLs, functional mobility, cognition, safety, and upper extremity function
• Supporting residents across multiple levels of care within the community
• Collaborating closely with Occupational Therapists and the interdisciplinary team
• Supporting continuity of care through communication and documentation
• Encouraging resident engagement, independence, and functional progress

Requirements

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current or eligible South Carolina COTA license
