PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Peninsula Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists in a collaborative skilled nursing environment dedicated to helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.

Compensation: $48–$55 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)

The Staff Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist with resident-related activities and provides direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the State of California.

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

  • Current CPR certification preferred.

  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility or post-acute setting is preferred but not required.

  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
