
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – PRN
Shadelands Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – PRN to join our rehabilitation team.

Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – PRN
Schedule: PRN
Pay Range:$48–$55 per hour, depending on experience

Provide occupational therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and established goals.
Assist patients in improving their independence with activities of daily living and functional mobility.
Provide therapeutic activities and interventions designed to improve strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional skills.
Monitor and communicate patient progress, response to treatment, and changes in condition to the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation in accordance with facility policies, professional standards, and payer requirements.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, home programs, and strategies to promote independence and safety.
Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and other interdisciplinary activities as needed.
Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations, professional standards, and facility policies.
Build positive and respectful relationships with patients, families, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals.
Current and active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification and state license
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
