Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | $62K-$75K + Flexible Schedule

A pediatric therapy organization in Lakewood, Washington is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a collaborative team dedicated to helping children develop independence, confidence, and functional skills.

This role offers strong clinical support, mentorship, and flexibility within a team-focused environment. COTAs work alongside experienced Occupational Therapists and multidisciplinary clinicians to provide meaningful pediatric care.

Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling options available
  • Four 10-hour days or traditional Monday-Friday schedule
  • Evening availability required for coverage until 7 PM

Compensation & Benefits

  • $62,400-$75,000 annual salary based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals
  • Deliver engaging, child-centered therapy interventions
  • Collaborate with OTs, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately
  • Support children in developing independence and participation in daily activities

Qualifications

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
  • Washington state COTA license required
  • Pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred but not required
  • Passion for helping children and improving functional outcomes
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
