Position Details
Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Location: Walnut Creek, CA (Rossmoor Area)
Compensation: $45.00–$52.00/hour DOE
Setting: Stable In-House Therapy Program
New Graduates: Encouraged to apply — hands-on mentorship provided
Your Role & Impact
Provide therapeutic treatments under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist (OTR)
Help residents improve daily living skills, independence, and overall function
Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with state practice standards
Collaborate closely with nursing staff, restorative aides, therapists, and families
Support discharge planning through caregiver education and home program instruction
Contribute to a strong rehabilitative environment through teamwork and communication
