Position Details

  • Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

  • Location: Walnut Creek, CA (Rossmoor Area)

  • Compensation: $45.00–$52.00/hour DOE

  • Setting: Stable In-House Therapy Program

  • New Graduates: Encouraged to apply — hands-on mentorship provided

Your Role & Impact

  • Provide therapeutic treatments under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist (OTR)

  • Help residents improve daily living skills, independence, and overall function

  • Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with state practice standards

  • Collaborate closely with nursing staff, restorative aides, therapists, and families

  • Support discharge planning through caregiver education and home program instruction

  • Contribute to a strong rehabilitative environment through teamwork and communication
