Are you a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking for a rewarding opportunity with competitive pay and a supportive clinical team?

San Bruno Skilled Nursing is seeking a dedicated COTA to join our in-house rehabilitation team This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate therapy professional who enjoys working with older adults and helping residents regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Position Details

  • Pay: Starting at $49.00–$50.00 per hour

  • Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities available

  • Location: San Bruno, CA

  • Setting: Skilled Nursing / Geriatric Rehabilitation

  • Team: In-house rehabilitation

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

  • Help residents improve independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional mobility.

  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.

  • Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve strength, coordination, function, and independence.

  • Monitor and document resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising therapist and care team.

  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to support resident-centered care.

  • Encourage residents throughout the rehabilitation process and promote dignity, safety, and quality of life.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable requirements and facility policies.

Qualifications

  • Current, valid California COTA license required.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

  • Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
