Assisting with Acclimatization: Help new residents settle into their new home by introducing them to their surroundings and the surrounding community. Personal Care and Hygiene: Ensure that residents maintain personal cleanliness. Assist them with daily hygiene activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Meal Support: Distribute meals to residents, assist them with eating, and provide additional support such as feeding and hydration to those who cannot eat or drink independently. Mobility Assistance: Aid residents in moving and repositioning within their beds, chairs, or when using mobility aids like wheelchairs. Ensure their comfort at all times. Monitoring and Communication: Regularly check on residents' well-being, listen to their needs, and communicate any concerns or observations to the appropriate staff. Social Interaction: Engage with residents to encourage and support their socialization needs. This includes participating in activities, and ensuring they feel cared for and valued. Team Collaboration: Support your colleagues with shared duties and daily tasks to ensure a cooperative and productive work environment.
Requirements
Experience in caregiving or a similar role is necessary. Positive attitude, responsibility and a compassionate approach to caregiving. Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends. Basic proficiency in English. Physical stamina, energy, positive attitude.
