We are looking for skilled, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA – who desire a career that matters in a community that values their expertise. The Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA promotes residents’ independence by supporting the resident in doing as much for self as possible while providing high quality care.

Shifts Available: Full Time 2nd & 3rd

Pay: Starting from $18.50 increases with experience and $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd

Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
  • Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities
  • Engaging in interesting and meaningful activities with elders
  • Assisting the elders in getting up and going to bed when they want
  • Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them
  • Laundry and light housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry. However, see below for our offer of on-the-job assistance in getting this certification!
  • Experience: good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents
