The Opportunity

Our Health Care Center is seeking PRN Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to work every other weekend, with opportunities available across all shifts.

This is a great opportunity for CNAs looking for a consistent, predictable weekend rotation while maintaining the flexibility of PRN employment.

Position Details

Schedule: Every Other Weekend (Saturday & Sunday)

• Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Opportunities Available
• Location: Larksfield Place Health Care Center – Wichita, KS
• Employment Status: PRN (As Needed)
• Additional Hours: May be available based on staffing needs

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team.
• Take and document vital signs and other resident care information as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Collaborate with nurses and fellow team members to deliver exceptional resident care.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, and well-being.

What We're Looking For

• Active Kansas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Dependable attendance and a commitment to the assigned every-other-weekend rotation.
• Strong communication skills and a resident-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Compensation – Here's What You'll Earn!

Our starting base rate for CNAs is $16.50/hour, but with our PRN and weekend differentials, you'll earn even more!

Here's what you'll make when working qualifying weekend hours

• 1st Shift: $22.50/hour ($16.50 base + $4.00 PRN + $2.00 weekend)
• 2nd Shift: $24.50/hour ($16.50 base + $4.00 PRN + $2.00 weekend + $2.00 shift differential)
• 3rd Shift: $23.50/hour ($16.50 base + $4.00 PRN + $2.00 weekend + $1.00 shift differential)

Weekend differential applies Friday at 10:00 PM through Sunday at 10:00 PM. Actual hourly compensation depends on the shift and hours worked.
