We seek a Certified Nursing Assistant Lead to provide nursing care in our loving, compassionate environment where both residents and staff and encouraged to learn and grow. This position provides nursing care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and/or licensed physician, and is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his or her direction. This position observes, contributes to the plan of care, implements, reports and documents patient care in accordance with department policies, standard of care and state scope of practice. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to contribute to the assessment of data and to plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
Pay & Benefits:
Full Time, 40 Hours per week, 4 x 10-hour shifts 9:00am-7:30pm Sunday - Wednesday

High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge is required.Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of C.N.A. experience. The ability to train and mentor other employees is required. The ability to float to other areas of the facility is required. Preceptor education course required.Current BLS certification. Current C.N.A. license in state of practice is required in accordance with regulatory requirements or facility/department policy. Demonstrates critical thinking skills and ability to lead other employeesMust possess excellent organizational skills, as well as effective human relations and communication skills. Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy and keyboarding skills is required.As is typical in this industry, variable shifts and hours, and on-call duties may be required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAdditional related education and/or previous leadership experience preferred.
