Position Summary: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), provide care to patients, under the supervision of registered nurses, by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring patient vital signs, reporting any changes in condition, performing EKGs, applying durable medical equipment, stocking supplies, charting in the electronic health record (EHR) and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients. Two shifts per week, every 3rd weekend
Education: High School Education or GED required.
Licensure: Registered with the State of Nebraska as CNA required.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Physical requirements: This position is classified as Medium Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
