Starting Pay: $23.00 per Hour

Tice Valley Post Acute is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing team. We are currently hiring Full-Time CNAs for AM, PM, and NOC shifts.

Position Details

  • Position: Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Shifts Available: AM, PM & NOC
  • Pay: Starting at $23.00 per hour
  • Schedule: 4 Days On / 2 Days Off Rotation
  • Location: Tice Valley Post Acute | Walnut Creek, CA

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality care according to each resident's individualized care plan
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • Assist residents with meals while promoting proper nutrition and hydration
  • Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff
  • Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Accurately document care provided and follow all facility policies and procedures
  • Promote resident dignity, privacy, safety, and independence at all times
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

  • Current, active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused attitude
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
  • Strong teamwork and time-management skills
  • Previous skilled nursing or post-acute care experience is preferred but not required
