Pay scale: $18hr.

Provides care for clients in Daymark facilities under the direct supervision of registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and/or physicians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Measures and records height, weight, blood pressure, BMI and other vital statistics as directed by nurse and/or physician.
• Serves as primary liaison between clients and medical staff for “med line” calls by responding to non-emergency calls from clients regarding medication/medical needs when the call is received or returning the calls, securing the information regarding the purpose of the call and documenting this, and ensuring the information is relayed accurately to medical staff.
• In addition, employee must be alert to calls from clients that are potentially of an emergency/crisis nature and ensure these are immediately relayed to medical staff for determination of appropriate response, returning the calls, securing the information regarding the purpose of the call and documenting this, and ensuring the information is relayed accurately to medical staff.
• Assists doctor in all telemedicine work such as scheduling, being available to assist with client per doctor request and providing any paperwork that may be needed prior to call.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of High School Degree with Certified Nursing Certificate from State of North Carolina. One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
