Job Description

1. Professionally answers telephone in a friendly and helpful manner

1. Consistently maintains a neat, clean and user friendly work area

1. Safely provide activities of daily living

1. Provides comfort needs in a timely manner for the patients i.e. baths, bathroom breaks, feeding, and positioning.

1. Thoroughly and legibly documents in the patient record including intake and output, patient weights vital signs

1. Performs and documents accurate patient education

1. Communicates effectively. Establishes and maintains two way communication with peers, staff, physicians and administration

1. Adapts to change in a positive manner

1. Follows through on problems that may compromise patient care by using the appropriate chain of command

1. Cooperates well with peers and supports group decisions

1. Accurately communicates patient information to charge nurse/registered nurse in a timely manner

12. Maintains a clear, neat and safe environment for patients and staff

13. Insures that supplies and equipment for patient care are readily available and organized in an efficient manner

14. Correctly identifies and use appropriately personal protective equipment

15. Seeks information/ guidance from RN

16. Consistently uses skilled communication which demonstrates congruence between words and actions and holds others accountable for doing the same

17. Any other duties assigned as needed to help drive our Mission and abide by our organizations values.
