Where we are:
Nestled along the banks of the Guadalupe River in the scenic and highly desirable Texas Hill Country, Kerrville is a small city of around 25,000 residents located just 45 minutes northwest of San Antonio. Known for its natural beauty and relaxed pace of life, Kerrville draws both residents and visitors with abundant outdoor recreation—from hiking and camping in nearby river parks to kayaking, fishing, and hunting across the surrounding Hill Country landscape. Despite its small-town charm, the city boasts a vibrant cultural scene anchored by the Symphony of the Hills and performances at the Cailloux Theater, alongside galleries, community theater, and year-round local events. Families are supported by strong educational options within Kerrville Independent School District and higher education opportunities at Schreiner University, while the area’s wide array of summer camps and youth programs provide enriching experiences that attract families from across the region. Together, these elements make Kerrville a uniquely well-rounded community where education, the arts, and family life thrive side by side.
