Other Duties:

  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all company privacy and confidentiality standards
  • Represent the organization positively and professionally in patients’ homes and community settings
  • Work independently with minimal daily oversight and demonstrate initiative in completing responsibilities
  • Provide courteous, timely, and professional customer service to patients, families, and partners
  • Exhibit adaptability to changing responsibilities and flexibility in completing assignments
  • Demonstrate consistent and effective use of organizational technology systems and tools required for the role, including communication, documentation, productivity, and data management platforms
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, including job descriptions, mission, and the Employee Handbook
  • Communicate and interact professionally and respectfully with others to support team goals
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively discharge the responsibilities of the position and are in the best interests of the company

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training program
  • Current Nurse Aide certification in your state of practice
  • At least one year of experience preferred; home health or hospice experience is a plus
  • A caring, steady approach and the ability to follow instructions and document services accurately
  • Clear, warm communication with patients, families, and coworkers
  • A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance for home visits

Why Join Us

Sierra is a nonprofit, so our focus is on the patients and community we serve. You’ll join a close-knit team that recognizes the people who provide hands-on care.

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, and a 401(k)
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Educational Encouragement for certifications, licensure advancement, and continuing education
  • Monthly Employee Recognition
  • Discipline Appreciation Events, including a dedicated gift and luncheon for CNAs
  • Team building events, including potlucks and celebrations across Las Cruces and Truth or Consequences
  • Referral bonuses for qualified referrals

If you bring kindness and consistency to the people in your care, we’d be honored to meet you and help you bring out the courage in others.

CareM Management Services

About CareM Management Services

For more than 100 years, CareM and its predecessors have been building, operating, and managing healthcare organizations across the continuum of care. Five generations of leadership, from sanitariums in the Deep South to a modern clinically integrated network, have shaped how we think about care, operations, and the people who deliver both. Over the years, CareM has provided managed services to private ownership groups, not-for-profits, municipalities, and Native American tribes.

Our mission is simple: to bring out the courage in others. We exist to help people stay home, through skilled care, hospice, palliative care, and physician services, and to build the infrastructure that lets clinical teams do that work well.

We don't deliver care directly. We make it possible. CareM provides strategic guidance, operational support, and centralized services to our managed entities, while coordinating value-based care integration across a broader provider network.

We've worked with organizations at every stage, from startups to established nonprofits to joint ventures, and the lesson that has held across all of them is that people deliver care, and people need systems that support them.
