
Supports and compliments the nursing process under the direction of a Registered Nurse by providing patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver nursingassistanceto patientutilizingeach patient’s physical, psychological, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs under the supervision of the registered nurse
Completes patient caretimelyand accurately based on the prescribed plan of care in conjunction with the Registered Nurse
Completes documentation according to specific hospital policy
Performs clerical / receptionist functions on the nursing units
Promotes a clean and safe environment of care,utilizingthe SAFE error prevention habits
Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct
Required Qualifications
Education and Training
Currently certified by the state of Illinoisas a CNA.
High school diploma or equivalentpreferred
Must be 18 years of age or older
CPR certified.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to care for patients with compassion andmaintainquality in a fast-paced environment
Previoushospital experiencestronglypreferred.
