Supports and compliments the nursing process under the direction of a Registered Nurse by providing patient care in a fast-paced environment.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursingassistanceto patientutilizingeach patient’s physical, psychological, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs under the supervision of the registered nurse

• Completes patient caretimelyand accurately based on the prescribed plan of care in conjunction with the Registered Nurse

• Completes documentation according to specific hospital policy

• Performs clerical / receptionist functions on the nursing units

• Promotes a clean and safe environment of care,utilizingthe SAFE error prevention habits

• Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct

Required Qualifications

Education and Training

• Currently certified by the state of Illinoisas a CNA.

• High school diploma or equivalentpreferred

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• CPR certified.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to care for patients with compassion andmaintainquality in a fast-paced environment

• Previoushospital experiencestronglypreferred.

Work Shift Details:

Nights -12 Hours, 7p-7a, every other weekend, rotating holidays
Part-time; Nights

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:
