Department: Participant Care

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Muskegon, MI

Reporting To: Bridgette Wagner

Compensation: $18.50 - $20.02 / hour


Schedule 40 hours per week | Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

What You'll Do In This Role:
Make every day meaningful as a Certified Nurse Aide at the PACE Center, where you’ll provide compassionate, hands-on care to participants in a dynamic adult day setting! Through person-centered support, you’ll help maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life while building meaningful connections. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to holistic, coordinated care and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality in a purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Hands-On Care – Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support Mealtime– Help (residents or participants) enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
  • Keep Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
  • Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
  • Maintain Comfort & Care – Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
  • Provide Responsive Support – Answer call lights quickly and respond with kindness and compassion.
  • Monitor with Watchful Eyes – Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
  • Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the State of Michigan from an accredited program.
  • At least one year of experience working with the frail elderly, long-term care population, or individuals receiving end-of-life care, preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification or willing to obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license to travel within the service area as needed.
