As a CMA at Fargo Elim, you will administer medications, assist with daily care needs, and work closely with nurses and caregivers to ensure the highest level of safety and well-being for those you serve. The ideal candidate will hold both a CNA and a Level II CMA certificate as well as be reliable, compassionate, and committed to supporting older adults with dignity and respect

Days: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer medications.
  • Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Review and follow a written care plan.
  • Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software.
  • Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls and helping residents to the bathroom.
  • Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Qualifications:

  • Current North Dakota Nursing Assistant certification required.
  • Must hold current CMA Level II certification in North Dakota.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
  • Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
