Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Satellite Infusion Clinic, Full-Time


Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) Medical Park 1


Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Satellite Infusion Clinic team. In this role, you’ll support both clinical and administrative functions in a patient-centered, fast-paced environment, helping ensure a seamless experience for patients receiving infusion services.

This is a great opportunity to work a consistent weekday schedule while being part of a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality care and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take patient histories and vital signs
  • Prepare patients for exams and treatments
  • Assist providers during procedures and infusion-related care
  • Administer medications as directed
  • Collect and process lab specimens
  • Provide patient education and support treatment plans
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record
  • Support front office workflows, including patient check-in and communication

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active Medical Assistant Certification/Registry (required)
  • BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • High School Diploma or GED

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and assisting patients
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Fast-paced clinical setting with direct patient interaction
