Starting Hourly Pay: $21.16
Work Scheule: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
Must be certified as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is responsible for the intake of clients and preparing them to be seen by the Medical Practitioners. The CMA performs back-office skills, obtains baseline clinical data, assists the medical staff as necessary, assists in the efficient operation of the Medical Clinic, and collaborates with the maintenance of the laboratory. This position is vital to the provision of support to the providers and patients in the delivery of Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) team-based care. The Certified Medical Assistant works under the supervision of the site Practice Manager.

The Native American Community Health Center, Inc. (dba NATIVE HEALTH) was started in 1978 as a small community nursing program. The initial funding was a grant from Indian Health Service. Since then the agency has expanded to include two primary service divisions:
• Primary Care Division (Medical/Dental)
• Behavioral Health Division
NATIVE HEALTH currently provides a wide range of programs including primary medical, dental, WIC (available at three sites), health promotion and prevention, wellness programs and behavioral health programs. NATIVE HEALTH provides services to over 13,000 individuals per year, resulting in over 70,000 visits. NATIVE HEALTH has contracts, grants and fees for services for over $11 million dollars. NATIVE HEALTH is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is led by a Chief Executive Officer under the supervision of the Board of Directors.
