Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities?  ANR is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and self-motivated Certified Investigator to join our growing department in Allegheny County.  As a Certified Investigator, you will conduct community-based investigations into allegations of abuse or harm involving individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Must be currently or willing to become a Certified Investigator through the PA Office of Developmental Programs (ODP).  ANR covers the cost of becoming a Certified Investigator!
- Full-time
- 40 hours/week
- Fully remote position but must be available to travel to investigations within region.  Great for work/life balance!
- Travel mileage reimbursement is available at the state set rate
- Hourly

rate is $20 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Maintain current Certified Investigation status with ODP
- Maintain knowledge of HCSIS, MyODP, EIM, and E-System systems
- Available and able to conduct timely, thorough, and objective investigations, initiating the process within 24 hours of assignment
- Understanding and implementing the Certified Investigative process independently
- Serve as the lead Certified Investigator for assigned areas but will provide back-up support to other areas as needed
- Ability to identify witnesses and conduct thorough and objective witness interviews
- Ability to compile all relevant evidence into a comprehensive Certified Investigation Report
- Ensure all forms of documentation are gathered to a complete evidence file
- Maintain the highest level of ethical behavior and professionalism while conducting certified investigations
- Ensure that technology is maintained and available for use while conducting investigations (camera on cellphone, cellphone, and laptop)
- Willingness to provide coverage for initial assignment of cases
- Other duties as assigned to support the mission of the agency

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
- Maintain the 3-year Certified Investigator requirements and pass the recertification when due
- Professional experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, their family members, and other service professionals
- Ability to meet deadlines and travel regionally
- Strong organizational skills, independent work ethic, and critical thinking abilities
- Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Must pass a physical, TB, and drug screen
