The CIH Senior Project Manager leads complex Industrial Hygiene (IH) consulting projects with evolving scopes and multiple stakeholders. This role combines advanced IH technical expertise with seniorlevel project leadership, operating as a sellerdoer responsible for client engagement, project execution, financial performance, and development of emerging PM and IH talent. The CIH Senior PM builds trust across client organizations, WESTON leadership, subcontractors, and project teams while contributing to WESTON’s PM community and technical excellence.

Expected Outcomes

  • Builds and executes stakeholder engagement plans; aligns expectations across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leads multidisciplinary teams, sets project vision, fosters collaboration, and resolves conflict.
  • Manages complex IH projects involving multiple subcontractors, changing conditions, and competing priorities.
  • Achieves financial performance targets including NIBT, margins, and DSO; ensures timely and accurate invoicing and A/R oversight.
  • Ensures project quality and health & safety performance with zero accidents.
  • Supports business development, including proposals, cost estimating, and identifying valuecreation opportunities.
  • Procures followon work and strengthens client relationships.
  • Mentors and develops junior and midlevel staff; identifies emerging PM talent and contributes to WESTON’s PM community.

Industrial Hygiene & Technical Leadership

  • Lead advanced IH assessments including sampling strategies, exposure evaluations, air/noise monitoring, IAQ assessments, and complex hazard evaluations.
  • Perform and oversee qualitative and quantitative fit testing and IH program implementation.
  • Serve as senior technical reviewer; ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and highquality deliverables.
  • Conduct EHS/IH audits and provide expert regulatory guidance.
  • Produce clear and comprehensive technical reports for client and regulatory audiences.
  • Maintain active professional engagement and stay current with IH standards and best practices.

Project Management & Operational Excellence

  • Assemble, lead, and develop crossfunctional project teams.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and change on complex IH projects.
  • Anticipate changing project conditions and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and stakeholders regarding project status and decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with WESTON purchasing, subcontracting, quality, and H&S requirements.
  • Partner with project support specialists for smooth project execution.

Client Relationships, BD & Team Growth

  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships at multiple organizational levels.
  • Contribute to proposals, pricing strategies, and capture planning as a sellerdoer.
  • Identify opportunities for followon work and expanded service offerings.
  • Represent WESTON through professional involvement and technical leadership.
  • Mentor and supervise IH staff and emerging PMs; provide coaching and performance feedback.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
  • Bachelor’s degree in IH, Public Health, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of project management experience leading complex, multistakeholder projects.
  • 7+ years of IH/EHS experience (advanced degrees may reduce years).
  • Expertise in IH sampling, exposure assessment, IAQ, noise monitoring, and hazard evaluations.
  • Strong regulatory knowledge and capability to serve as qualified technical reviewer.
  • Demonstrated sellerdoer experience, including proposals and client engagement.
  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Travel required for client sites and team collaboration.
  • Capability to do field work and comply with H&S requirements.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop technical and PM staff.
  • Strong financial management skills, including oversight of profitability metrics and A/R.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing project conditions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in IH or related field.
  • Leadership experience within PM or IH Communities of Practice.
  • Consulting experience with diverse client portfolios.
