CHHAs Needed in Toms River

We have immediate opportunities for licensed Certified Home Health Aides who want consistent, one-on-one work with clients in their homes throughout the Toms River area.

We are especially interested in hearing from male CHHAs, as we have clients who prefer a male caregiver. All qualified CHHAs are encouraged to apply.

A Different Kind of Caregiving

In-home care gives you the opportunity to focus on one client at a time rather than caring for multiple residents in a facility.

You'll help clients remain comfortable, safe, and independent while developing the type of personal relationship that makes caregiving rewarding.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Companionship and conversation
• Medication reminders
• Errands and assistance with daily routines
• Following the client's individualized care plan
• Observing and reporting changes in client condition

What You Need

• Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license required
• Previous home care, private-duty, senior care, or healthcare experience preferred
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Dependable and able to maintain scheduled client assignments
• Compassionate and professional
• Ability to work independently in a client's home
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to complete required background and pre-employment screenings
