Are you passionate about industrial electrical work? Do you thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment where safety and reliability are key? If you are an experienced Industrial Electrician who excels in troubleshooting, maintenance, and collaboration, we want you on our team.

As an Electrician, Site Services, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems across site services infrastructure. You will support operations by ensuring equipment and facilities—including generators, light plants, camp, and office trailers—are safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance:
Promote a strong safety culture through participation in daily and monthly safety meetings, performing task-based risk assessments, and identifying and reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses. Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, regulations, and company procedures.

Electrical Installation & Maintenance:
Assemble, install, test, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including conduits, wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, switches, generators, and lighting systems.

Preventative Maintenance & Reliability:
Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities and work closely with the Maintenance Planner to support planned and unplanned outages.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Diagnose electrical issues across site facilities, including trailers, camp infrastructure, and equipment, and complete timely repairs to maintain operational continuity.

Collaboration & Coordination:
Partner with other trades (e.g., mechanics, HVAC) to ensure proper system installation, integration, and performance during construction and maintenance activities.

Documentation & Reporting:
Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists. Maintain up-to-date documentation, including drawings and work records, and clearly communicate completed work and emerging issues.

Continuous Improvement & Development:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training sessions to remain current on equipment, systems, and industry best practices. Provide support and guidance to apprentices when required.

Tools & Housekeeping:
Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe operation and ensure work areas meet housekeeping standards.

Additional Duties:
Perform other duties as assigned and support the broader site services team as needed.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Mining (surface) or mineral processing experience considered an asset.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and manuals.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and associated hazards.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Strong commitment to safety, environmental standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability and willingness to train and mentor apprentices.
  • Good physical fitness with ability to climb ladders and work in demanding conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with John Deere, Komatsu, and Caterpillar equipment is considered an asset.

Physical Requirements

Salary: $43.60 CAD - $67.32 CAD

The expected salary range for this role is intended to support transparency and informed decision making. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience and internal equity.
