GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position is part of the Practice Transformation team. This position is responsible for review of medical and/or behavioral health data necessary for the collection of revenues from third party payers. This position requires time interacting with payers and with providers and other clinical support staff.

WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Originally opened by Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center as an extension of its mission, it is now a patient-owned and operated organization serving more than 50,000 children and adults annually.
The Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas employs more than 700 professionals and support staff at 18 locations throughout Crawford, Cherokee, Labette, Linn, Montgomery, Allen and Bourbon counties, and Ottawa County in Oklahoma.
The Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas is governed by a 12-member Board of Directors which includes patients and community representatives.
Medicare, Medicaid, KanCare and private insurance are accepted. Discounted rates for services are available for those meeting financial assistance guidelines. No-one is refused care due to inability to pay.
