Job Purpose or Objective(s): The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, diagnosing, inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and service several heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and systems. You will report to the Maintenance Manager.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will repair and maintain low pressure hot water systems, gas wall heaters, ventilation units, and air condition units.
2. Replace fans, belts, motors, gaskets, filters, and compressors, and lubricate parts.
3. Adjust and install switches gauges, thermostats, valves, tubing transformers, pressure regulators, controllers, and other parts.
4. Establish cost of repairs and equipment replacement.
5. You will operate specialized machinery, equipment, and tools used in the repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
6. Maintain all mechanical and cosmetic items throughout the facility.
7. Inspect all lighting throughout the property, identify potential problems and resolve the issue.
8. Maintain a knowledge of all rules, regulations, and controls.
9. You will follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
10. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
· EPA Universal License and HVAC Certification
· Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning maintenance.
· Two (2) years of experience with a significant combination of vocational education, apprentice training, or on-the- job training preferred.
