Full-time

Provides a complete range of duties associated with addiction treatment services. The CAS counsels independently and service a wide variety of clients across Centennials ten counties. Services are provided using a secure telehealth platform.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Interviews, reviews records and confers with other professional to evaluate condition and needs of clients
Formulates programs for treatment and rehabilitation of clients
Counsels clients individually and in group sessions to assist clients in overcoming alcohol and drug dependency
Counsels family members to assist family in dealing with and providing support for the client
Refers client to other support services as needed such as medical evaluation and treatment, social services and employment services
Monitors condition of client to evaluate success of therapy, adapts treatment as needed
Maintains accurate and timely clinical records consistent with Center standards
Prepares documents for presentation in court and presents court testimony as needed
Participates in minimum of 2 hours of clinical supervision per month
Performs other job duties as assigned

Requirements

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in related health sciences

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Certified in the State of Colorado as a Certified Addiction Specialist

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

Ability to work effectively and ethically with diverse clients
Ability to work effectively using telehealth service delivery methods
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of community resources
Demonstrate effective time management and ability to multi-task
Basic computer literacy such as email communication, telehealth platforms and word processing
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Ability to travel within the Center’s service area or to the other locations as needed

Salary Description

$24.04 - 30.05/hr

Administrative offices are located in Sterling, CO, which is the home base for the Executive, Deputy, Finance, and Medical Directors. Center-wide functions provided from Sterling include Human Resources, Billing, and Management Information Systems.

With offices in Akron, Burlington, Elizabeth, Fort Morgan, Holyoke, Julesburg, Limon, Sterling, Wray and Yuma and services available in Cheyenne Wells, Centennial is well-positioned to identify local needs and provide prompt response.
