The Thermal Ceramics division designs, manufactures and installs a broad range of thermal insulation products that significantly reduce energy consumption and emissions in a variety of high temperature processing applications. Our product offering is extensive and covers application needs from Industrial to Commercial markets.

Responsibilities

Are you a commercially astute product leader with the technical depth to thrive in high-temperature materials? We are seeking a Product Manager – Standard Fiber to take full ownership of a critical product line that enables energy efficiency and CO₂ reduction in demanding industrial environments.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role bridging R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure our Standard Fiber portfolio delivers market-leading performance and profitability.

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of the Standard Fiber product family—setting strategy, driving innovation, optimizing performance, and ensuring financial success. Your leadership will directly influence revenue growth, margin expansion, market share gains, and sustainability outcomes across global industrial markets. Key Responsibilities

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

  • Full P&L accountability for the Standard Fiber portfolio

  • Drive revenue attainment, gross margin expansion, and portfolio optimization

  • Manage product rationalization and lifecycle decisions

Strategic Planning & Portfolio Roadmapping

  • Develop and execute regional and global growth strategies

  • Define long-term portfolio architecture aligned to market trends

  • Identify adjacencies and expansion opportunities

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Analyze competitive positioning, pricing, and product differentiation

  • Identify high-growth segments and evolving customer pain points

  • Translate market insight into actionable product strategies

New Product Development & Commercial Launch

  • Partner with R&D and manufacturing to develop new fiber solutions

  • Define product specifications, value propositions, and pricing strategies

  • Lead structured product launches delivered on time and within budget

Commercial & Technical Leadership

  • Serve as subject matter expert for high-temperature fiber applications

  • Support key customer engagements alongside Sales

  • Develop technical marketing materials and training resources

Operational Collaboration

  • Work closely with manufacturing and supply chain to optimize cost, inventory, and quality

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance profitability

Qualifications

What You Bring

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical discipline

Experience

  • 5+ years in Product Management or Technical Marketing

  • Background in refractory, insulation, advanced materials, or high-temperature industrial applications strongly preferred

Core Competencies

  • Strong financial acumen (P&L ownership, pricing strategy, margin optimization)

  • Technical depth in high-temperature or energy-intensive applications

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority

  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills

Key Success Metrics

  • Revenue growth of the Standard Fiber portfolio

  • Gross margin expansion and cost optimization

  • Market share growth in targeted segments
