Are you ready to build a ClimateTech spin-off helping electricity grids adapt to climate change and electrification?
GRIDWATCH, project supported by IREC, is developing an Hybrid AI – Phisics based platform for monitoring and decision-support, designed to improve the resilience and efficiency of electricity grids.
By combining satellite data, weather data and grid sensor information with predictive algorithms, the platform helps utilities anticipate failures, mitigate climate risks and optimize grid operations.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial CEO to lead the spin-off creation, commercial strategy and international growth of the company.
Electricity grids worldwide are facing unprecedented pressure due to climate change, aging infrastructure and rapid electrification. Extreme weather events, infrastructure failures and demand growth are increasing the risk of blackouts and raising operational costs.
Current grid management systems focus mainly on monitoring and control, but they lack predictive capabilities to anticipate failures and guide mitigation strategies.
GRIDWATCH addresses this challenge by transforming data into actionable insights, enabling utilities to plan, respond, recover and adapt, supporting the full resilience cycle.
GRIDWATCH is a predictive monitoring and decision-support platform that integrates multiple data sources (satellite and weather data, grid sensor, operational data and open-source datasets) to improve grid resilience
Using proprietary AI algorithms, the platform can predict grid failures and overload risks, anticipate the impact of extreme weather events, Identify faults and vulnerabilities in real time and recommend mitigation actions to prevent outages
The platform is designed to integrate easily with existing grid management systems and operates under a lean and scalable SaaS architecture
