Job Description

About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing organisation in the vocational and technical education space, operating government-partnered Centres of Excellence (CoEs) in advanced manufacturing and technical skilling. With a network scaling from 4 to 15-20 centres over the next 12 months, they need a Centre Operations Head to build the systems, processes, and governance frameworks that ensure every centre runs to the same standard - regardless of geography.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement SOPs, dashboards, and governance frameworks to standardise operations across 15-20 training centres.
  • Track and interpret centre-level KPIs - attendance, trainer performance, batch completion, certification, and placement outcomes.
  • Conduct periodic visits across centre clusters to audit delivery quality and enforce operational standards.
  • Direct a team of 36 internal technical trainers on delivery standards, content packaging, and classroom conduct.
  • Implement a Train-the-Trainer (TTT) framework for continuous trainer development and performance management.
  • Build operational playbooks that enable rapid, standardised onboarding of new centres as the network scales.
  • Oversee curriculum application and periodic review; provide user requirements to the central LMS team.
  • Manage centre-level budgets, reporting, and compliance with government programme standards.

What We Are Looking For

  • 7-12 years of experience in vocational education, technical skilling, or multi-location training operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple training centres, campuses, or skill delivery locations simultaneously.
  • Strong systems thinking - able to design scalable operating models, governance structures, and SOP-driven processes.
  • Technical bent of mind with working knowledge of manufacturing or engineering; deep domain expertise in any specific trade is not required.
  • Comfortable with periodic travel across centre clusters.
  • Prior experience in similar technical training foundations preferred.
