Bethany Aged Care Centre offers caring and supportive lifestyle in a community setting. Located in the charming coastal town of Port Macquarie, our 66 bed Centre is located just minutes away from public transport, the beach, the town centre and local services.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced professional who can hit the ground running in this 6-month max-term contract role In this position, you will lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including several experienced Registered Nurses and a dedicated onsite Care Manager.
This contract offers an immediate start and will run through to February 2027. To support your transition, we are also pleased to offer up to four weeks of complimentary onsite accommodation for the successful candidate.
In the role of Centre Manager, you will foster a warm, welcoming and supportive environment, ensuring care is delivered with compassion, integrity and dignity. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, this position offers the opportunity to showcase strong leadership and people management capabilities.
As the Aged Care Centre Manager with The Salvation Army you will be responsible for the operational management of the centre, supported closely by a
Areas of responsibility include compliance, staff management, financial management, occupancy and AN-ACC elements to support the needs of our residents. You will report to and be supported by your Sydney based Regional Operations Manager and you'll collaborate with our Support Services team and specialist professionals in aged care.
ABOUT YOU
You will be a motivated and capable emerging leader who is ready to take the next step in your career. While prior Centre Manager experience is beneficial, it is not essential, as we are committed to supporting the right candidate through a structured transition into the role. With guidance from experienced regional and clinical leaders, you will be supported to build confidence, capability and success as a Centre Manager within a collaborative and values-driven environment.
