Our client is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate Centre Manager to lead an experienced and supportive team. The service is centrally located, partly exceeding rated and can accommodate 132 children at full capacity.

About the service

The service is centrally located and close to public transport. With less than 90 children at full capacity, there are terrific-sized rooms, a fantastic outdoor environment, and genuinely happy and supportive staff. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Centre Manager to make this your own.

We are looking for a strong leader with experience in a similar setting. You must demonstrate a proven ability to use your communication skills to persuade, engage, inspire, and motivate a team of passionate Educators to deliver optimal learning outcomes for the families being served. The ideal candidate would have experienced at least one A&R with favourable outcomes.

About the role

As Centre Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, including but not limited to:

  • Guiding and mentoring a team
  • Supporting and upholding the Centre policies, procedures, philosophy and regulations
  • Attend to administration tasks as needed
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with families and the community
  • Ensure the highest quality of education and care is transferred throughout.

About you

  • Diploma qualification or above
  • Minimum of 2 years continuous experience in a CM or 2IC role in a long daycare setting
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Inherently responsible and dedicated to providing a safe and positive environment for children and staff
  • A&R experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with families and the wider community
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
