Job Opportunity: Cook at Stride Early Learning

Stride Early Learning is looking for a Cook to prepare fresh, healthy and culturally appropriate meals for children aged 0 to 6 . You will be the heart of the kitchen, creating meals that nourish growing bodies and introduce little ones to new flavours every day.
What you will do
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children each day
- Plan menus that meet nutritional guidelines and cater for allergies, dietary requirements and cultural preferences
- Work with educators and families to meet each child's individual dietary needs
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Manage food ordering and stock within budget

What you will need
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Solid knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Experience planning menus that meet nutritional requirements within a budget
- A good understanding of children's nutritional needs
