As our Centre Administrator, you'll play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our centre while helping to foster an environment where children thrive, whānau feel welcomed, and teachers feel empowered to grow and succeed.

This is a part-time position – 25 hours per week

Opportunity | Te Aheinga

  • Greeting parents, visitors and tamariki and support positive daily interactions
  • Managing enrolment and attendance information in Discover and other systems
  • Supporting invoicing, receipting and basic debtor follow up
  • Answering phone calls, emails and day to day enquiries
  • Preparing reports and support compliance and licensing requirements
  • Coordinating information between the centre and Support Office
  • Assisting the Centre Manager with general admin and organisational tasks
  • Helping with events, parent evenings and community connections

About You | Mou

You are a professional who thrives in a busy environment. Your background and skills will include:

  • Administration experience in a similar environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with whanau from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience using various technology tools and you will be comfortable learning new software
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all record keeping
  • Knowledge of ECE legislation, funding, and WINZ subsidies is highly preferred
