
PRIMARY FUNCTION: To assist with the registration of students new to the Douglas County School System.
PAY GRADE: N-231- Grade 5 - Salary Range: $30,220.00 to $48,293.00. Salary placement will be based on Douglas County Board of Education approved salary schedules and years of verified experience.
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 231 Days (12 Months)
REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent of Student Services
EDUCATION LEVEL: High School Graduate
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities. Sedentary work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body; sedentary work involves sitting most of the time; jobs are sedentary if working and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

2. Handles all correspondence related to student registration. 3. Processes and prepares new student records or retrieves records of students reentering the Douglas County School System. 4. Process all student records requests. 5. Prepares and delivers student records to individual schools after initial registration. Includes a checklist of required records documents that indicates information that must be submitted for a complete permanent record.
6. Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Student Services.
