Location: 802 E Centre Park Blvd, DeSoto, TX 75115
Pay: $22.00-$26.44 (DOE)
Shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm
Employment Logistics:
The Centralized Operations Coordinator oversees day to day yard operations to ensure trailers, equipment, and personnel move safely and efficiently. This role is responsible for maintaining an accurate Yard Management System (YMS), reconciling inbound and outbound trailer statuses, and ensuring proper scheduling coverage for yard coordinators and yard jockey drivers. Success in this position requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to stay organized and calm under pressure.

The Must-Haves:
• High School diploma/GED (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
• Great communication skills (Multilingual preferred - Spanish, Creole/French)
• Dependable, proactive leadership skills and a strong team oriented mindset
• Strong organizational skills; ability to work under pressure and follow directions well
• Understanding of loading/unloading trucks and rail cars
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Drive to grow into larger operations management responsibilities
Your Mission in Motion:
• Prioritize yard safety: Ensure all yard safety standards and protocols are followed without deviation.
• Manage trailer accuracy: Reconcile the system status of all inbound and outbound trailers to maintain real time operational accuracy.
• Maintain the YMS: Oversee the accuracy and proper use of the Yard Management System, ensuring data is current and reliable.
• Support team development: Help solve operational challenges while coaching team members and contributing to future leadership development.
• Ensure full scheduling coverage: Maintain 24/7 scheduling coverage for yard coordinators and yard jockey drivers.
• Drive operational ownership: Stay proactive in identifying process gaps, supporting yard efficiency, and contributing to overall operations improvement.
